Kvalifikacijski kriteriji za titulu ITIL v3 Master su još u razvoju. Ovdje prezentirane informacije su informativnog karaktera te su podložne promjenama.

Od kandidata za ITIL v3 Master-a očekuje se kvalifikacija ITIL Service Management Expert te mogućnost demonstriranja iskustva u praktičnoj primjeni. Procjena kvalificiranosti kandidata vršit će se u odnosu na razne teme vezano uz implementaciju IT Service Management-a u praksi, npr.:

  • upravljanje organizacijskom i kulturološkom promjenom
  • prilagodbe promjenama u industriji
  • kontinuirano poboljšanje sposobnosti ITSM-a
  • priprema organizacije za audit i certifikaciju
  • priprema za ITSM konzultanta i /ili trenera

Osim gore navedenog, od kandidata se očekuje da imaju najmanje osam godina iskustva u IT Service Management-u.

Certifikacija za ITIL v3 Master-a temeljit će se na kombinaciji ITSM teorije i praktičnog iskustva. Metode testiranja mogu uključivati:

  • case study-e
  • pismene ispite uz dozvoljeno korištenje knjiga
  • kombinaciju pitanja s ponuđenim odgovorima, kratkih otvorenih pitanja i pitanja koja zahtijevaju dulji pisani odgovor
  • obranu teze
  • simulacije

Ispitno testiranje će biti na Bloom-ovim nivoima 5 i 6 (analiza i sinteza) i od kandidata će se zahtijevati identifikacija riješenja za realne situacije.
