PeopleCert Exam Information

Your exam voucher will be sent to you shortly after you purchase your course. The exam voucher must be redeemed on the PeopleCert website before starting your course. Redeeming the exam voucher allows customers to access the official eBook.

PeopleCert exams can be taken online, through your web browser or using ExamShield proctoring software. Candidates choose how to take their exam in their account area on the PeopleCert website.

PeopleCert operate an exam insurance scheme called Take2. If you would like the opportunity to retake the exam , you must purchase Take2 before taking your exam.

Take2 can be purchased through your PeopleCert account up to 15 minutes before your exam.

Alternatively, you can become a PeopleCert Plus member to receive a free resit for all certifications you take.

Prerequisite certifications:

  • PRINCE2® 6th Edition Foundation (or higher)
  • PRINCE2® 7 Foundation (or higher)
  • PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation

PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exam:

  • Objective testing
  • Open book (only official hard copies of the Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2® Agile Guidance will be allowed. Printed PDF copies and digital copies stored on electronic devices will not be permitted in exam environments)
  • Students may use annotated or tabulated hard copies in the exam. However, these copies may not contain additional loose papers or notes
  • There are 50 questions per paper (each worth one mark)
  • 30 marks are required to pass (60%)
  • Candidates will have two and a half hours (150 minutes) to complete the exam, with no additional reading time

PRINCE2 Agile is a project management methodology that combines two of the world’s most powerful approaches to project management: PRINCE2 and Agile

PeopleCert is the owner of and accrediting body for a number of best practice frameworks, including PRINCE2, PRINCE2 Agile, MSP, ITIL 4, and AgileSHIFT.

Students start with PRINCE2 Agile Foundation before moving on to PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner. PRINCE2 qualifications can also serve as prerequisites for PRINCE2 Agile exams, and vice versa.

To sit the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exam, students must first pass either PRINCE2 Agile Foundation or PRINCE2 Foundation.

The PRINCE2 Agile Foundation exam is a closed book exam with 50 multiple-choice questions. The exam is 60 minutes long and has a pass mark of 55%.

The PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exam is an open book, objective testing exam with 50 multiple-choice questions. The exam lasts 150 minutes and the pass mark is 60%.
